1st and 10 UTEP at the UTEP 15 yard line. Palmer under center ....NAD BOOM!!! Haywood comes right through and hes down at the 11 yard line!

2nd and 14 UTEP at the UTEP 11 yard line. Palmer tosses it and he gets about 7 on the play.

3rd and 7 UTEP at the UTEP 18 yard line. Huge Huge Huge stop here for the SMU defense. Thomas in the backfield again, Palmer under center. Palmer back tot throw tosses it and caught and he damn it!! dekes and gets up to the 28 yard line.

1st Down UTEP.

1st and 10 UTEP at the Miner 28. Palmer lateral pass Higgins gets up to the 31 yard line.

2nd and 7 UTEP at the Miner 31. Palmer has completed his first 7 passes for over 70 yards already. Not a good start for SMU. Palmer under center fakes the hand off pass and he caught it again. Up to the 35 yard line.

3rd and 3 UTEP at the Miner 35. UTEP has controlled the ball so far and has completed all 4 of their 3rd down conversations. Throws it and once again got it . To the SMU 36 yard line.

1st and 10 UTEP at the Mustang 36. Hand off and he got about 4 yards or so.

2nd and 6 UTEP at the Mustang 32. Sprinkling in El Paso. Palmer hands off...and he goes out. Loses about 2 yards. Haywood doing a huge job for the Mustang defense. Haven't seen the rest of the SMU defense so far tonight however.

3rd and 8 UTEP at the Mustang 34. Once again...a huge 3rd down paly for the Stangs...5 for 5 UTEP is. Back to thro...Pases it and INTERCEPTED!!

The secondary is giving 10 yard cushions. They have got to tighten up. The interception was due to pressure on Palmer.

1st and 10 SMU at the Mustang 1. Slater under center. Mapps man...nothing there.

2nd and 10 SMU at the Mustang 1. No huddle for SMU. Not good at all for SMU so far. Slater another hand off and Mapps gets about 4 yards on the play.

3rd and 6 SMU at the Mustang 5. UTEP has fully dominated the game so far yet SMU is only down 7. Passes it to Chase and he got up to about the 9 or 10 at the most.

Why we do that I don't know.

Morsted back to punt..Another good punt all the way back to the UTEP 38 and he gets around the tacklers....and there he goes. He returns it all the way.

Touchdown UTEP.....Wow. This just keeps getting better and better.

Please make note that Willis being gone does not make you call a 3 yard pass on 3rd and 5 and Willis does not play on special teams. So far this is just our same old problems we have seen over the past 3 years.
