Reason for loss to UTEP

Simple facts about the game and the state of SMU Football:

The Mustangs played their hearts out, and can still go to a bowl and the CUSA championship

We had and inexperienced QB who threw 3 INTs. He got his feet under him but it was too late

Justin Willis is a good QB. I hope he was not getting paid or something of that nature!

Phil Bennett is a good Coach and we should not give up hope. Let's hope Willis can bounce back and play like he played against Tulane. I've been watching SMU football since I was young and I don't know when I have been as optimistic about it, even (and especially) after a loss.
