Zero CatchesDid we even attempt a pass to a TE? Does Chris Phillips ever play?

CPhil plays catch on the sidelines with the back up QBs
doneI heard phillips is done, and was told he didn't even make the trip to El Paso.
Best of wishes to Phillips if its true!
Phillips is supposed to be a great athlete. Very disappointing if true. I liked his attitude. From what I read earlier this year, he was moping or threatening to transfer if he didn't get any playing time. He seemed to be very pro-team. He had a lot of promise, but I guess the shoulder injury his freshman year was worse than anyone thought at the time.
You must still be wetting your pants after finding out on the Recruiting board that Cistercian's Abola has missed almost the entire year because of a torn ACL after you criticized him for having "zero catches and zero carries in a 33-0 victory over some Sunday School Class named Arlington Oakridge". Talk about BLUNDERS!
yeah...the shoulder injury...maybe the pride injury. When you go from a starting quarterback to a 6th string tight end and can't work your way up the depth chart it becomes very Demoralizing. A "rotator cuff" injury doesn't affect playing tightend or special teams.

It is a painful injury and if not rehabed right can have a bad effect. Blocking has a lot of shoulder motion and that affects the rotator cuff.
Me too-what did he do last night? Was he sick? Did he beat up a Metro-sexual? Perhaps he got lost on the way to the airport? He pushed his season stats to 1 catch for 8 yards per game last Nite despite the fact he's on the field all Nite long.
Or maybe he got fired from SMU and is still bitter...who knows
Chris is a good athlete-- just not the QB 'others' wanted him to be.
But are ya gonna sit Ryan K. to give Chris some snaps? Maybe next year. YOU WANT THE TRUTH? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!
