I can't believe we are on tv more than everyone except Memphis and Houston. Memphis is on most of them, Houston is second with 7 and we are third with 5. To be on more than UTEP and UAB must be the power of Doh.
I have to beleive the addition of Big Doh is the reason for more exposure . . . and hopefully continued positive exposure!!
Sports, and all that implies.
What's in a name? You all just learned its value. Of course, Houston and Memphis are factors. But they aren't going to televise UH and Memphis against East Carolina because they have an attractive name as the coach.
Visibility, folks. Visbility. This makes me and I'm sure mrydel very happy.
Hmmm... let's see if we can find the grey cloud in the silver lining.

Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
This vividly reminds me of all people who did not think we would get much added publicity from the potential addition of Coach D when SMU was interviewing this off-season.
The guy is a great coach, has a nationally recognized game, and could sell Bi-focals to a blind man. Getting Doherty to SMU is by far the most exciting/important event in my time as an SMU sports fan. (For what it is worth, I was a toddler in the Pony Express days. So for us post DP fans, this really is as good as its been.)
