UPDATED:

SMU reinstates Willis

Kate Hairopoulos reports that SMU has reinstated quarterback Justin Willis, who was suspended last week.

"Several factors have influenced the decision to reinstate Justin," SMU athletic director Steve Orsini said. "He is remorseful and contrite and has apologized for his actions. He understands that this is not acceptable behavior and he has been penalized."
