SMU Football Blog wrote:There is a hearing on whether or not to dismiss the bankruptcy case today; this is a closer call. I am not sure if SMU can meet its burden on this one.
The hearing got moved until today. I wasn't sure why, but now it is clear. Vodicka didn't file more than half his paperwork and the deadline to fix defects in his pleadings has now passed. It will now be dismissed notwithstanding SMU's motion.

Dunno. Reset the hearing on the MSJ in state court. What Vodicka does next, I have no idea.

With luck, he and the Judicial Hearing Board will both punt, and Vodicka will retire and Willis will return to an uninterrupted remainder of the season.

And she's mad at SMU for not giving in and spending a ton of money on attorney's fees. I've been through several mediations and all of them have ended in settlement because the parties sooner or later recognize that in the end its about $$$$.
Well, the clean title to the condo might be a preference and since she's an insider the reach back period is a full year. Way to go, Vodicka. Further, each time he transfers fractional interests in the condos, he's commiting a fraudulent transfer.

The next thing will be to reset the MSJ in state court as blogster says. Typically that requires 21 days advance notice of the hearing, so look for it in early November. But that is really a requirement for filing evidence, and Jay Patterson may be ticked off enough to set the hearing earlier. It will be interesting to see what Vodicka's next stall tactic will be. Will he risk the rath of the federal court system, where judges don't have to worry about appearances and petty things like getting re-elected?

This guy is unscrupulous and clever, but he isn't very smart. He could have voluntarily dismissed his case under Section 1307. And he wouldn't have had to deal with the order that is now going to be entered dismissing his case involuntarily. The Court now gets to grant SMU relief it couldn't have granted under its previously granted motions.

Oh, BTW, if you recall SMU gets its attorneys fees for fighting Vodicka in the latest bankruptcy. If SMU is to be believed, those fees exceed $38,000.00. Good thing for SMU that Vodicka isn't bankrupt.

When this thing is over, my fervent wish is that the lower than whalesh!t in the ocean slimeball is forever financially ruined - other than that, I hope he has a nice life.

As the earlier posts show, he might lose his hot bubbling wife, Ms. Jaccuzzi.

Shannon Jacuzzi is like a fake pron name. Not even a real pron name, but rather a made up pron name from some bad book or movie. You know, the kind of bad books and movies. The ones about pron.

It's a filter thing. Some companies block pages that contain the correctly spelled word (for obvious reasons), so you misspell(?) it to be safe.
