PB wont do a 2 QB shuffle but he will leave in Slater if he is successful in his first 2 series. If Corey goes 3 and out both times, I'm sure we will be seeing Willis.

Absolutely not. Slater hasn't fought anybody, had a good second half at UTEP, has been at practice every day working with the first-team offense and deserves to start. Of course, if the offense sputters, Coach B won't hesitate to pull him, because obviously there's every reason to have confidence in "the backup."

The best player should be out there. Slater can start if that makes everyone warm and fuzzy. It sucks for Slater, but I want to win and that means having Willis out there. It's time to start acting like a real program and that means no moral victories and no letting the backup play when our starter is available.
