Great win. We over came tremendous adversity. A QB that did not practice the entire week (and Give Slater credit, he did a great job). We didn't have our best D-ends. And we didn't have our best RB. Super effort by our Ponies. We have prvoen tht we have the depth at key positions. Great job Mustangs.

What about for next year though? Do we have the depth in the lines (i'm thinking in particular about the Dline) to improve on the progress we have made so far this year? If we have a winning season I don't want it to be another 9 years before the next.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Might have been a 5 td day for Willis had he played the 1st Quarter.

Way to go Stangs!

abezontar; let's try to enjoy this one before we start talking about the DL next year. No question we will be hurting with so many seniors leaving and so many frosh and RS frosh probably not ready for this level of play. That will be an area (DT) where JUCO recruiting will be critical

Anyone have a clue what Willis' QB rating was on the day?
20 of 23 for 208 yards and 4 TDs in 3 Quarters in not too shabby.

after calculating willis' stats, His QB RATING is 220.3

VERY IMPRESSIVE. By the time JW is gone, he will have set, tied, and broke numerous Mustang FB records.

Yes, I almost feel as if this was SMU first complete or almost complete game that they have played.

They came out very fair in the first half and finished the game with a very strong second half.

Great 4th QTR to put away the Herd.

Great job by the Mustangs today! Was a little scared there going into the 4th quarter...especially when Marshall took the lead...but the Stangs woke up and played a great rest of the 4th.

Now go beat ECU!

Let's not forget Zach Sledge, one of Stallion's favorites...4 catches for 44 yds and a TD.

Way to go Zack!
