Tomorrow's edition of the Dallas Morning News' Sports Day front page will feature a BIG article about OU's Adrian Peterson's season-ending collarbone injury.
If Baylor defeats Texas (10-0 Bears right now! ), it will be on the front page, too.
SMU's win over Marshall (5 home game wins in a row!) will land on page 3 or 4.

i find your obsession with the DMN's coverage of us very odd.

Its all about the money, and why the IRS should be taxing any profits
the BCS Athletic Departments make.

I'm not the one that started the thread about the DMN's 'adequate' coverage of SMU.

actually, i'm from houston, texas but just live in NYC. and FWIW, i've lived in houston, los angeles and new york, and no local college in any of those cities is guaranteed front page sports coverage. i think these guys obsessed with the DMN need a big dose of 'let it go man'.

Perhaps when we start fillling up Ford with paying customers, we will move to page 2 or 3.

FWIW: I'm just following jtstang's advice...you have to have a sense of humor to be an SMU fan. Part of that involves poking fun at the DMN.

See Fort Worth Star-Telegram aka Startelgram. I'm sure there are just as proportionate whoever fans there as anywhere in Texas. However, TCU, and they started promoting TCU who rose from the ashes a few years ago as their HOMETOWN TEAM
Helps make people in Fort Worth who never went to TCU possibly go to a game, get addicted, and become FANATICLE. Fanatics usually want to buy a newspaper to read about their HOMETOWN TEAM

i'm in a good mood today so i'm not going to lock horns with you about this, but fort worth ain't no dallas, houston, los angeles, or new york. but keep on dreamin' guys! when i was at SMU and we were winning big and regularly we WERE on the front page of the sports section, so there is hope for you to see your dream come true!
