from watching the games on all access, i'm not sure it would look so great considering the small crowd

You don't do red-outs or blue-outs. It looks like empty seats. Buffalo did a red-out in the cup finals against Dallas. It looked stupid.

Yes, but Calgary did a red-out in the cup playoffs last year and it looked awesome. The difference was that in Calgary, every fan wore the exact same red replica jersey.

I'm not so sure it would look great outside though.

is the school doing anything to get the students to the UAB game? You know that UAB won't bring anybody and that side of the stadium will look like it did yesterday unless students show up.

Someone suggested bringing red towels to wave at the UAB game on Halloween.

Maybe the special delivery folks can get some more of those mannequins and put them in the stands for the UAB game.

To get the students, money always works.

Only SMU students who enter through 1 particular gate are eligible. Those tickets stubs are used for drawings through out the game. To motivate the students to the game earlier, drawings start BEFORE kickoff & carries thru the game. $50 be my guest certificates or 2/1 restaurant deals, Mav/Stars/music concert tix, etc.

Or, sell "GameDay" shirts. Only students who buy/wear the shirt are eligible for the drawings. Proceeds from the shirt sales fund the next weeks drawings.
