Just got back from Dallas

Amazing win!! It's unbelievable how the sun shines even when its raining when SMU wins (and vice versa).

Willis looked AWESOME!! What a great moment it was when he took the field to the cheers from the crowd. He came in, and I honestly felt like there was no way we could lose.

What's it going to take to get some fans in the stands, though? Geez. Orsini needs to get to work on this right away. Case in point: I took my wife and kids to Balls Hamburgers about 11:30 a.m. b/f the game, which has become sort of a tradition. No one in there even knew there was an SMU game in 2 hours. The owner and some other HP dude (separately)asked me why we were all wearing SMU gear. "Is SMU playing here this weekend?" Geez.

At any rate, the Boulevard was fun and I love walking out of Ford with a W, which before recently was almost unheard of. Keep up the good work, Mustangs! Go get us that bowl game berth!!!

Clearly you're good luck. Make sure you're here for all the other games.

Yep. To put it in perspective, we used to live in Dallas and go to every home game. Most of the time, my wife would come with me. Since we've moved to Baton Rouge 2 and a half years ago, my wife has been to one other SMU home game with me. This was the FIRST TIME EVER that she has been to a game that we've won.

I plan to come up for one more game in November. That'll make 4 games this year (including Tulane).

I've been an SMU fan for a lot longer than the last 5 home games. A lot longer. 20 years longer. Have you been alive for 20 years? Regardless, I just hope the consecutive Ws at home (and away) continue.
