1980 Holiday Bowl re-creation on NCAA 2004

For whoever posted that the 1980 Mustangs are in this year's game . . .

The 1980 Holiday Bowl is actually one of the 10 historical games in NCAA 2004 - and you have to bring BYU back from 20 points down - with 20 minutes to go in order to unlock the pony express team (Re-create the comeback). Talk about painfull.

It was the only time in my life that I actually broken out in a cold sweat. And then a friend who went to BYU called me right after the game...

I had a party that night for SMU buddies, and we had such a big lead at the half, everyone left. I went upstairs to clean up and suddenly the lead was 6 points. Ouch. Still that first half was a thing of beauty. I still think about Craig James fake punt in that game.
