ECU leader in receptions and receiving yards out for the year with a broken foot.
No word on whether they will set the bone or just chop it off and give him a peg. Aarrrgh!
Also, ECU's 2nd and 4th leading receivers were out last week and are questionable this week.

He was nursing a sore elbow in last week's game. Hopefully that will limit his passing again.

Blog, When can we count on the scouting report for ECU? I was very impressed with the talent you posted last year, especially since I had never heard of ECU until we joined CUSA. Hell, I didn't realize there was a state named East Carolina. Now I do, and I will definitely be traveling to our next game there.

In reading up on the Pirates, it looks like they move the football pretty well between the 20s but have a problem finishing drives. Pinkney only has 5 TD passes.
Their two wins are over a pretty bad Memphis team and not very good Virginia team. How did they create a schedule where they are playing 5 consecutive games at home? Give them credit for doing it.
It will be interesting that whoever comes back from injury, how effective they will be.
Also, their defense has some problems stopping the run. If DeMyron Martin is ready to go, then....

ECU’s receiving corps takes another hit with Good’s broken foot
GREENVILLE — Add another player to ECU’s injury list.
Bobby Good, the Pirates’ top receiver, broke his foot warming up for ECU’s 31-10 loss to Tulsa.
According to Pirates coach Skip Holtz, Good, who led the Pirates with seven catches for 48 yards against Tulsa, took a shot to kill the pain and played for the rest of the game. Holtz said losing Good, who is definitely out for Saturday’s contest against Southern Methodist University, is a detriment to the team’s morale.
“It makes me sick for the young man because he’s such a good young man,†Holtz said. “He brings a toughness and a competitive nature that we need badly.â€
Good has been hampered with injuries at ECU. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2004 and dealt with a nagging hamstring injury last season.
Holtz said Phillip Henry, Steven Rogers and Kevin Roach are other options at receiver. Henry is the Pirates’ second-leading receiver with 18 catches for 269 this season, including two for 26 against Tulsa. Roach failed to register a catch last week, while Rogers posted one catch for 23 yards — which came off of Bobby Good’s pass on a reverse play.
ECU’s receiving corps was already depleted without Aundrae Allison.
The Pirates’ standout receiver has missed the past two games with an ankle injury, although Holtz is hoping Allison can play this Saturday. Allison has 1,288 receiving yards in 15 games, good for a tie for sixth place on the Pirates’ all-time career receptions list.
Allison is able to run forward, but has had problems making quick cuts.
“If he was an offensive lineman he probably would’ve played this week,†Holtz said.
True freshman Jamar Bryant, who had eight receptions for 82 yards before missing the past two games with a thumb injury, is also questionable for Saturday’s game.
With questions in their passing game, Holtz said the Pirates are trying to find a solution to a running game that’s been stagnant this season. ECU averages just 120 rushing yards per game, with Brandon Fractious leading the way with 249 yards and a touchdown.
SMU boasts the best rush defense in Conference USA, holding teams to an average of 86 yards per contest.
“You always try and sit down and say, ‘OK, how do you hit a home run?’ Holtz said.
