Oct. 15, 2006 Let's make Ford Stadium look good on national t.v. - Help pack the house by getting your tickets and ARRIVING EARLY to the game. BOULEVARD INFO: UAB GAME | PARKING INFO: UAB GAME National Television Audience The game will kick-off on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2. Halloween Trick or Treating The "Ultimate Trick-Or-Treating Experience" gets underway at 5:30 p.m. Departments across campus will be setup around the concourse of the stadium with their own trick-or-treat and haunted house stations. Costume Parade All children in costumes will be invited to participate in an on-field parade. For more information call the marketing office at 214-768-4053. The Boulevard NOTE: Gameday begins on The Boulevard, even on Tuesday!! Due to the weekday game, some Boulevard changes will be in effect. The Boulevard will not open for activity or parking until 3:30 p.m. and will close to vehicular traffic at 5:30 p.m. No tailgating activity may begin until after 3:30 p.m. Classes will be in session, so no amplified noise will be permitted on The Boulevard until after 5 p.m. For information on these changes please contact Kemberli Sanderson in the SMU marketing office at 214-768-4051. Halloween Halftime Show A "can't miss" halftime show will be performed by the Best Dressed Band in the Land - the Mustang Band. You will not want to miss this! Credentialed parking zones (Green, Gold, Silver, Red and Orange) will open for parking beginning at 3:30 p.m. Individuals are encouraged to arrive early as parking may be limited. The Mustang Express/768 will only stop at Hughes Trigg Student Center on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Also, the Game Day Shuttle will be operate that evening and is free of charge. The Game Day Shuttle pick-up location is the 3000 block of Binkley beside Moody Coliseum and the drop location will be near DART Mockingbird Station. Finally...some of what I was looking for. There are ticket promotions and a mention of the Boo-levard and all of the rules (even if they do suck).
I wonder if I'll get my normal e-mail about ticket specials. I don't even remember how I signed up for it.
Here's an idea for the student costume contest. Since I'm not a student, I can't participate. Get a group of 5 or 6 people and dress up as a dead dragon, a dead pirate (hopefully), a dead buffalo, a dead indian, and a dead bearkat. I don't know what to do about the green wave. I haven't thought it out enough to get creative.
It might get you on tv if nothing else.
You want attendance, get playboy.com as a sponser and hand out copies of the audition proofs being taken next week in the form of little trading cards.
