FYI, I still have a cowbell that SMU handed out when we played at Ownby after the death penalry, SMU Mustang emblem and all. It hasn't always been against school policy...

rjhiii: keep handing out those cowbells! They're GREAT!

I've got the LOUDEST MOTHER COWBELL OF THEM ALL! Got it several years ago and I walk in with it in my pants pocket. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Reminds me of the talent show episode of South Park. Jimmy and the "bell" in his pants.

cowbells

Postby Mustangunner » Mon Oct 16, 2006 4:56 pm

I feel Turner views the cowbells as weapons and is afraid of the crazy smu fans revolting on the yellow shirts
Michael Jordan plays ball. Charles Manson kills people. I talk.

I rang mine directly in front of a dozen yellow shirts and a cop, I had no problems.

I did get yelled at by some dude for muttering "damn" during the game. I'm just so inappropriate!

If the d-word is the worst thing you say at the game, I am impressed. The variation in my vocabulary is directly linked to the amount of booze consumed on the boulevard. I try to keep it clean, but lets be honest, occasionaly the team does something that makes me want to use other words.

Dirty Gringos for sponsor

Postby Sam I Am » Tue Oct 17, 2006 9:31 am

Regardless of who donates the cowbells, tell them that they were given by the Dirty Gringos, the music group that plays the song "cowbell" that includes quips by Christipoher Walker from the SNL skit.
