Moved to Westport about five years ago from Manhattan, and I really like it. I live off of Greens Farms Road near Turkey Hill Road, if that helps pin-point me. It's odd, since a local high school up here is the Mustangs and they use a very similar, if not the same, logo. There are always reminders of the Hilltop, and more than a few SMU grads and students from this neck of the woods. More than I thought...
Support the Commitment! We're all SMU Mustangs fans- we should all be committed!
GP, glad to hear there are some Mustangs around. I'm forgetting much about Westport but great spots I remember were Stew Leonards, Westport Pizzaria and Lenny & Joes up the coast on the Sound. CT sounds pretty good on July day in Dallas I can tell ya that.
Civil Engineer...or at least I try to be civil most of the time.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
International Spokeschicken, and Free-lance basketball scout. Idol of Millions. CPC does a few other things as well, but those are just hobbies.
Some will tell you that a glass is half empty, and others that the same glass is half full. But all CPC really wants to know is...... does the drink taste good?
In my first career, I was a physician in pulmonary diseases (lung) and critical care medicine (life and death). I am now an administrator for an insurance company. My SMU degree is in Broadcast/film. I also have an MBA. I list this not to brag but to point out that SMU athletics has had a long history of producing scholar athletes of which I am a humble member.
Internet expansion finder of articles. Been doing this for a couple of months. Great job. Good pay. Lining up a new job as salad maker at Le Madeline to supplement income.
