Duke does not really practice. He as I would say "chills" on the sideline of practice making signal calls. But I am sure that both will be helping the team out as best as they can by working with the practice squad.

so does this mean he has to watch film on the ECU signal caller so he can make sure to give the defense a good read??

That was a good laugh. I am sure Duke will not like working with the Practice Squad and will learn that if your friend is in trouble...call and get help, not run to a cop and get cuffed.

Somehow I picture him in a black and white striped prison outfit doing "running with the Zebras"

Why not just bench them instead of suspending them? Does Hasson really get that big a thrill waving his arms on the sideline? Why not let him do that?

Not true. He does a lot with the scout team, which is very important for preparing the defense.

Bennett had to suspend the two for the game because he had to be consistent with his policy. It would have looked very odd for him to have suspended Willis and not do the same with Hasson and Sledge.

They are NOT SUSPENDED for the game or for the week. A suspension means that they cannot practice or participate in any team function like meetings.
PB is just not letting them travel. They are practicing meaning that they are NOT suspended.

I don't think PB was the driving force behind Justin's suspension. There is no doubt in my mind that PB would have punished Justin for his lack of good judgement and all, but I think the indefinite suspension came from higher up.

For what it's worth, Hasson was operating in his regular role in Tuesday's practice with the scout team, where he was joined by Sledge. Hasson also said he will host Running with the 'Stangs this week, as always.

Does anyone else have a problem with the precedent set by our best player nearly being suspended two games for not getting arrested, but two players actually get arrested and ticketed and they are not suspended?

No, I do not have a problem.
Hasson and Sledge were trying to help. Willis, did not control himself and he did something wrong. Even, given the history of the situation.
I like the statement about " this is not a right but a priviledge "

OK it is not a suspension. But there are suspension-like qualities to it. Namely, not allowing them to travel to ECU.
