Aw, Big 10. Can't stand a little good-humored poking of fun? All of that respect you earned from me last week for taking a bold stand calling for Willis' reinstatement (after it had already happened, btw) is fast eroding.

FYI, I will wager you (using funny money, or perhaps fools gold) that the Big 10 doesn't end up in a championship game and maybe not even in a major BCS bowl game.

You humorless dork, I was giving it right back to you. I'll take that bet because if Michigan and Ohio State and are each 11-0 when they meet, the loser goes to BCS series game. The winner goes to the BCS title game.

And Notre Dame's last two losses are to the Big 10. They had their doors blown off by Michigan this year and Ohio State in that Fiesta Bowl. And it counts for 2006 because it was played on New Year's Day.

When it comes to games that mean something, Notre Dame comes up short.
