Are you sure you aren't thinking Jesse Henderson? I don't remember Fitz hobbling off the field.
No I mean Fitzgerald. I think it was the missed 4th down coversion. If not, it was in the 3rd down play before it. He hopped off the field heavily favoring his leg and I do not think he returned. I think it was the missed 4th down because I remember thinking that they tried to go wide whcih was bad enough and then when he tried to cut his ankle must have given way.

Big10,
How in the devil did you, who just signed on in April, come to have more posts than me on this board?
I've been on since the beginning, and I don't have that much to say.
Somebody find some college team that can light up the Big10, and let's be done with that drivel.

You're right. If he got hurt, it was on the 3rd down play because as he made his cut between the right guard and right tackle his legs went out from under him. Dorsey got the ball on 4th down and pushed it to the outside when the hole wasn't there. I don't remember him hobbling off. My seats are right behind the bench, and I don't recall the trainers attending to him.
But nothing has been suggested that his status is in question.
OC,
If you think I'm bad look at Jimmy Tubbs supporter who signed long after me and is setting landspeed records for posts.

Could have been a "sympathy" limp.

I thought I saw Burns limping after that fourth down play too.

I think we all were limping after driving our legs into the bench in front of us after we missed on fourth down.
By the way, mrydel and jaws, I hope my avatar is not too offensive.

I thought you and I were at peace, especially when I covered for you when you were in N'awlins. Life is too short to be angry over trite issues. So consider this my offer to end yours and my disagreements.
I don't want to do this anymore with you.
Let's just say my 7-year-old daughter taught me something valuable recently. I'm blessed to have both her and my 6-year-old daughter.
Mrydel,
You'll appreciate this. When we were at the game against Marshall and everyone was excited in the fourth quarter, they looked at me and said how much fun they were having. Of course, they were wearing their SMU cheerleader outfits.
They've outgrown their Big 10 uniforms.

We are, but don't ask me to stop being myself.
And although I don't have kids, my six year old step daughter has an SMU cheerleader outfit, much to my wife's chagrin.

Understood.
I have an announcement.
I will no longer identify the SMU beat writer from The Dallas Morning News as The Greek Tragedy. It will just be Kate or Kate H.
