Seriously, is anybody concerned about ECU this weekend?I sure hope our football team is.
Geaux MUSTANGS! Geaux Tigers!
Read the blog. Yes, I am very concerned. I have been asking around about the team and hearing good things. We'll see.
All the bowl talk in the media has me worried. Last time Bennett flapped his gums on that subject, we lost two in a row.
It is Homecoming for ECU and they will have over 40,000. We are 6 point underdogs. Concerned ? I hope our football team is. This game is huge. I will feel better about the next three home games in a row if we win this one. This game is a manditory win if we are serious about going to a bowl.
Hell yes, I'm nervous. ECU is a super-fast team. They're not that disciplined, but they have great team speed. We can win, we should win .... but I don't know that we will win.
Shut down the ECU running game, and we're in good shape. Proud to be a PonyFan
Nope. Not worried. Just confused as to why you used the word "incite" when you meant "insight"... ![]() ........ Uh, I don't know... I have this strange feeling, that while we shouldn't take ECU lightly (and I don't), that SMU will totally destroy the Pirates. ![]() Eric Dickerson in Pony Excess "I've love winning man, it's like better than losing." - Ebby Calvin "Nuke" LaLoosh
I am nervous as hades too! I have been up early chewing my fingernails! I am glad this is not a night game.....I am already driving my wife nuts! GO MUSTANGS!!!!!!!
im nervous.. but i have alot of faith in our stangs and i believe they are going to bring home a WIN!!
I am always nervous when SMU plays. I think they will win because they have the revenge factor working for them. The team certinly won't take this game lightly since ECU beat us last year. They already took care of our first revenge game - Tulane.

doesn't care who wins. -- Dwight D. Eisenhower
ECU has been inconsistent but they showed against West Virginia and Virginia what they are capable of doing on their home field. With this being their homecoming, SMU's winning this game would the team's best win to date
The views in this thread don't seem to be reflected in the prediction thread. That's why I asked. I, for one, am very worried about this game. Vegas and the majority of sportswriters were pretty harsh on the Mustangs this week.
