Break Up the SWC

Postby Stallion » Sun Oct 22, 2006 3:22 am

SWC goes undefeated Saturday-oops except for SMU. 8-1. Probably the greatest day in SWC History. Coach Fran has apparently saved his job-and now might be able to give a dreadful OU team without Petterson a game. Baylor has won the mythical Big 12 North with an undefeated 3-0 Championship. Congratulations to the Big 12 North Champions Baylor Bears-you may now print your T-Shirts. You've got to give a coach 4-5 years to turn the cormer-yes even Bennett-just don't lose to Rice in Houston in the Battle for 9th place. Has SMU really improved in 16 years as the Cheerleaders insist or has SMU simply lowered the level of of its competition.

you beat me to this post...I was thinking the same thing. This may be the 1st time since the break up of the SWC that each and every former member (except dear ole SMU) won their games on the same day/night

Both the A&M and Baylor game were very good games to watch. Bears come from behind to win and A&M wins a close one in OT.

Hats off to the SWC...

10/10/98: 6-3
10/31/98: 5-4
09/16/00: 5-4
11/11/00: 4-5
10/13/01: 5-4
11/10/01: 4-5
10/19/02: 6-3
10/18/03: 2-7
10/08/05: 7-2
10/15/05: 4-5
