its amazing that so many people blame the Head Coach when a QB is hitting everything all day. Were all those coaches idiots for allowing Willis to complete 85% of his passes in earlier games. The Head Coach excuse is just silly. Pickney was firing the ball on the money all day long. ECU was the better team today.

The Head Coach excuse is not silly.

The coaching staff is suppose to prepare their kids to stop the opposing team.

PB is a Defensive Coach and specializes in D. His staff could have prepared these kids better.

Sure, it is up to the players to win games but the coaches play a big part in a win and a loss.

So the Coach excuse is not silly.

The coaches don't have to read this board to know we have issues in the secondary. The issue is what are they doing in practice to improve things.

this is the same QB that beat us last year. He came out confident before an energized homecoming crowd...and this ECU team had something to prove after getting whipped by Tulsa on their home field the week before. Give him credit for having that strong a game...even after taking a hit from Rogers early on (don't know if that was part of the coaches' strategy or not...I'm sure they would never admit to it if it was)
