Bowl Watch - October 22

Sometimes I hope some of you aren't in positions of power where people listen to you and act accordingly. Just playin.


Back to bowls, yeah...looks like that Hawaii bowl could be a feasible option, though. The Pac-10 must supply 6 bowl eligible teams and right now they have 8 teams with 4 wins.

The first 2 are eligible and the 3rd will be:
USC 6-0
Cal 7-1
Oregon 5-2

One win away:
Washington State 5-3

Separating the rest...
UCLA 4-3
Oregon State 4-3
Washington 4-4
Arizona State 4-3


To allow C-USA the possibility of getting that 6th bowl we would need 2 of those 4 "rest" teams to not win 2 of their lost 4/5. Could be a huge reach but UCLA doesn't have an easy game left and Washington could fold after a dissapointing OT loss to Cal. Who knows?!

I am not saying this is a thought...but I am just showing the Pac-10 situation. Should be fun to watch this all play out.
