Remaining Games

We are 4-4 with 4 games left against UAB, Houston, Tulsa and Rice. I believe Bennett needs a winning season to secure his job for next season. If we go 6-6 then it will be close. We likely have to win 3 of 4 to go bowling. The N. Texas loss and ECU loss really hurt us. Imagine if J. Willis started at UTEP. Do we win that one? Maybe, maybe not. I say we do. This could be a season of what ifs....I like talking about these possibilities much more than past seasons when we only had 1 or 2 wins at this point. The team is improving and with the exception of the first two games we have been very competitive. If this season does not turn out as well as we all hope then we better have a few Juco recruits to come in and fill the voids. My problem with keeping Bennett short of a winning season is it appears his recruiting momentum has slowed dramatically. Look at what Rice is doing and Tulsa. How many recruits has Tulsa gotten from us in our own backyard? Too many. Any thoughts?
