I'm going to go with 1998 on ESPN or ESPN2 against TCU. I know (or at least am pretty darn sure) that 1997 had a natioonal TV audience, and I think that '98 did as well.
Too bad they had to show that 1997 game. That was a suck-fest.

I remember being at a family Thanksgiving-time dinner in the year 2000 and insisting the SMU-TCU game be put on, then watching my beloved Mustangs have their [deleted] handed to them by Fran's boys.

As I said in another thread... all recent SMU-TCU games, save for last year's, have been absolute debacles.
21-10, I just have to keep reminding myself of that.
