I'm sure that won't be a problem after all the publicity our ensured bowl game at 6-6 will get us.

All I know is...regardless of how bad our corners are playing this year, I am very happy not a single one of them is graduating. I think they will make strides soon enough.

recruit a lockdown corner? theres no such thing as a "lockdown" corner any more... and if what you mean by lock down corner then you mean a cover corner... and cover corners don't hit. so what do you want?

I am ABSOLUTELY shocked , SHOCKED that we are having such problems at the cornerback position given Bennett's professed love for coaching "great" cornerback's. I can't believe that we don't have 2 or 3 All-Americas at this position! Of course, Sturdivant might end up being one, but he is a safety. You would think that the top high school cornerback's would be falling all over themselves to come to SMU to be trained by the "Great One"!

u said u wanted a "lock down" corner... "lock down" corners don't hit... they lock down the wr's in coverage and don't worry about the run (ex. deion sanders)... u RARELY hear the term "lock down" or "cover corner" used any more... even champ bailey doesnt like to be called a cover corner. u said we need db's who hit, and then said can we recruit a "lock down" corner. I don't know of any "lock down" corner who also hits, theres a difference in the two. all i was saying is pick one or the other in your argument, you cant have both. and my sub issue was that there really were no more lock down corners in any level of football
