no...I hear the coaches are thinking about converting him to LB.

Seriously, though...I assume you are asking whether he will earn playing time this year? If he can help this team win THIS YEAR, I expect the answer will be yes.

I hear he'll be in the mix, too. He would be a hell of a backup to KK and FitzG.

Why would you want to turn a player that has never even played defense in High School into a D1 linebacker?

Richuel is a RB all the way.

WTA, that was a joke Image.

I don't think he will see time this year. Redshirt him and let him play next year, assuming Fitz is as good as he is supposed to be. Of course he didn't see any time in the Tech game, so who knows?

I think the coaches have realized how talented this year's freshmen are, and want to try to redshirt as many as possible, so they can grow and mature together. Massey is a terrific talent, and he's going to be a monster for us, but I gather the plan is to let him redshirt and then tear it up next year.

And while everyone expects Massey and Fitzgerald to be the main guys, don't rule out Foy Munlin just yet. He was really productive at Tech, and now he's on our scout team in practice. And apparently he's running all over the place against our first-team defense. He's essentially an extra member of next year's freshman class - he just won't play as long as they will.

A joke? Okay. I know SMU has alot of talent stockpiled at RB...but Richuel isn't a defensive player.

I made it up to Ford Stadium for the Tech game last year...great atmosphere. I had a terriffic time, except the outcome.

Anyway, I hope to catch SMU and Baylor in Waco. Good luck Ponies.

Bennett has said he likes to go with one guy at RB-pretty silly if you ask me-so there's no way you take a redshirt off Massey when Fitzgerald was a star in the spring and doesn't even get on the field for a single play against Tech.
