I'm not pinning the losses on Willis, just noting, based on the final scores, he failed to put SMU in a position to win those games.

I would not say he did not put us in a position to win the UNT game. It takes some of the other players to contribute. He was not involved in our getting behind with a blocked punt and for the running game to flounder after Martin went out, nor for the defensive collapse in the 4th. He did his part. In other games it has been a matter of him putting the team on his back at times and making winning plays, not just a matter of putting the team in a postion to win. Regarding ECU, put that on the D.
Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!!

So...you're saying...he DID put us in a position to win at NTSU and ECU. Good. Is the sky purple where you live?

Please try to keed in mind the guy's original post was about the performance of two freshman QB's and his premise was they have been asked to put their respective teams in a position to win. It was not about what the rest of the team did or did not do to help in that endeavor.

How can the fact that a person actually named "juice" not have been mentioned yet in this thread?? If I get a PS3 and become addicted to whatever new college football game EA Sports puts out there like I did a few years ago with College Football 2005, my first QB's name in my SMU dynasty is gonna be Juice Williams.

Sounds like the name of one of the players in White Men Can't Jump.
Let me explain something to you. I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me.
