Confirmed:
Both sides of the stadium will be open, as usual.

I understand that the student section will be expanded all along the visiting team's bench. SMU wants the lower level full, and its assumed UAB won't bring a lot of folks.

That can't be good news for national TV. Will CJ offer color commentary on the attendance anyone?

Outside of UTEP, has there really been a CUSA team that has brought many of their fans to a game?

I was told SMU received the "ok" from the NCAA, to put the band and students behind the UAB bench.

IIRC we got the temporary ok for this game, and are trying to make it permanent.

Why not scatter the band throughout the whole stadium so it looks like more people are at the game?

That would amount to one instrument per section. That will fill it up.

I think we could use all of the ideas mentioned before. Plus, here are a few more!!!
Dog daze at Ford.
Bring a scarecrow.
Tote a blow-up.
Drag a mannequin.
Prop up a cut-out.
Put a dress, and a kick stand on a mop.
Empty out area rest homes, and tell them it's a fun outing----------
kind-of like a "Adopt a Blue Hair Day"
Do a rental with local funeral homes.........Cash for Corpses!
Paint faces on your trash bags.
Lean those 5x1 stand up mirrors.
What do ya think?

Chain-gang day - they can clean the stadium afterward too.
