Here's what they are saying on the WAC board about the upcoming season. The western WAC teams basically laugh at the EWAC weaklings. Unfortunately, that's what we've proven to be on the field. How sweet would it be to change things THIS YEAR! SMU is going to have some opportunities in hosting both Fresno and Boise to earn some respect. Will this be the year?

How quickly they forget. What about La Tech winning the WAC in 2001? They still have McCown at QB and will always be a threat to win it all. Someday we will be able to say the same thing for SMU.

I'm as enthusiastic about the season as anyone, but that Boise game scares the hell out of me. They might be even tougher than OSU.
