Cameron Crazies

Don't know if anyone has heard or posted this but Dukes funto hate fans, the Cameron Crazies will no longer be Crazy or atleast be crazy in the place they had been for many years. The Fans had been breaking fire code violations for the past decade. Coach K was made when he found out the can no longer stand and cheer were they did for so many years.

The students will now be forced into the stands and will have to have a sit. The space they took up was a fire safety violation.

I wish we had some "cameron crazies" at SMU. the mustang maniacs just aren't really loud. My grand mother can cheer louder than them.

I'll let you know how different it is. Last year it was a Notre Dame football game; this year my stepson & I will be at Cameron for the Georgetown game.

Looking forward to going to the land of the 2nd best Methodist seminary.

The fire code has nothing to do with standing or sitting. This rule covers the walkway just behind the benches (though not the opponent's bench, which already has a buffer zone) and press row. Usually 2-3 rows worth of standing students crowds in that area to be right on top of the reporters, statisticians etc. Now the walkway has to be clear so the bottom bleacher row can only have 1 row of students and they can't creep up into the walkway.

The Crazies will definitely be up and dancing as usual...nothing against that in the fire codes
