I think I work with the most annoying Houston Fan in Texas
His son is a Houston player who is redshirting this year. He claims Kolb is the best quarteback in the state of texas, he claims blowouts, and all kinds of ridiculous things. I am greeted every morning with sticky notes and newspapers guessing what the score will be this weekend. I am trying to be nice, but for the love of god it has to stop.
He wants to bet on the game. He suggests the loser has to wear a xxsmall jersey or sweatshirt of the winning school to the next home game. This is all fine and dandy except I am an XXL guy.
Anybody else have some good ideas I can propose to him?

Propose he quit slacking off and gets back to emptying out your wastebasket or mopping the floor.

Was Swanny on valium that night? That was the most sedate, articulate, thoughtful Swanny ever. We don't ever need that persona again. Give me loud, obnoxious, over-the-top, "Pa-thetic"/"UNBELIEVABLE!!"/"RICH!!!" -spewing Swanny any day.
Never change Swan-man

I work with one even more annoying....and I'm a UH fan too!
You get to deal with yours once a year, when SMU plays UH.
I get to deal with mine all year long...
The single most annoying thing about him? He won't go to a game! He talks up UH more than any person I know (and I go to games with some HARDCORE UH fans!), but he ALWAYS finds a reason not to go to the game!
I've given up...

TmmyChan,
You are preaching to the proverbial choir on that one.
Unless our grassroots efforts to "get out the turnout" for Saturday, you'll be astonished at the lack of fan support SMU has to deal with.
I can say arguably that this game isn't the biggest your team has had in 22 years. I can say, arguably, that this game is SMU's biggest in 22 years, or one of them anyway.
And although a bunch of folks know it, woefully few "get it".
God, I am hoping something changes for Saturday. Our team needs to see it.
