1. UNC (REJECTED)
2. SMU (accepted. scholarship and aid)
3. Boston College (wait list)
4. UH (accepted some aid)
5. TCU (scholarship and aid)
Boston College was actually first on my list when I visited it in THE SUMMER. When I was in Boston during semi winter time, I changed my tune really quick. Never thought I had a chance at UNC but applied anyways and I was right. Got into SMU with enough scholarhip and aid where it made the cost comparable to state schools so it made the choice easy being that I loved Dallas and was going for a business major. Applied at UH bc I am from Houston and would have applied at Rice too, but was sure I would never get accepted.

1. SMU
2. Florida State
3. Texas A&M
4. North Carolina
5. Arizona State
There are a few others that I applied. My senior year of high school, I had already put down my room deposit at Florida State, but as time came closer to leave, I realized I liked Texas too much. I couldn't be happier with the choice I made.

SMU was my top choice, but when I got a full academic ride at Ole Miss and visited Oxford, I knew Ole Miss was for me. SMU gave me a nice scholarship, but I couldn't justify the money for undergrad when I could get a great education in the honors program at Ole Miss. So, here I am now at SMU for Law School.
I turned down Tulane, A&M, Loyola, and Miami

1. Duke (got in, not enough scholarship money)
2. Harvard (wait listed)
3. Princeton (didn't get in)
4. SMU (I believe everything works out the way it is supposed to and wouldn't change a thing)
5. Mount Holyoke (got in, wanted to go where there was football)
6. Cornell (got in)
7. Drake (very cold in April)
some others that I can't remember now. I did get in to K State and get a full ride without ever applying though.
Law School
1. Duke (got in and went)
2. Harvard (got in -- what can you say, I love college basketball)
3. Columbia (got in -- well, it's in New York)
4. University of Chicago (got in -- too stuffy, no sports)
5. Georgetown (got in to law school but not their public policy joint degree program)
6. University of Michigan (not accepted - which one of these is not like the others?)
7. George Washington (in, but eh -- this was my safety school).

1.SMU
2. Tulsa
3. Austin College
4. Texas
5. Oklahoma
Accepted to all 5. Austin College gave me a ridiculous amount of scholarship money but Sherman is a hole. I spent one year there but had already completed my transfer paperwork by January of my freshman year and it was off to SMU and an improved aid package.
