We get some crossover Coug fans at Ford here early for Sunday's Houston-New England MLS Championship in Frisco? The Frisco event is a near sell-out. (I know, let the MLwhat? jokes ensue)

Yeah I am sure that the 1000 Cougar fans that show up at our game are the exact same 10000 people in the Houston metro area that care so much about soccer that they are willing to follow their team to Frisco.

be nice if some of the soccer hooligans would come to the UH games also. My cusins husband is from South Africa so we sit in the section with all the crazies. non stop noise for 90 min's. Houston has a huge Soccer fan base, U.S. vs Mexico had 69,582 and FC Barcelona and Club America had 70,550.

For games at Robertson Stadium, the Dynamo averaged 16,048 (including playoff games). That average discounts a 4,000 attendance for a game that was moved to UH's Carl Lewis T&F complex, and a 70,000 attendance at Reliant Stadium that was a doubleheader with a couple Central American teams.

The playoff games were all over 17,000, with the semi-final last weekend being over 23,000 at Robertson Stadium.
