Question for anyone in the know

Postby mrydel » Sun Nov 19, 2006 10:41 pm

Willis was obviously limping during the last drive for TD. Does anyone have any update on how he is doing. Sometimes those sprains get worse when you finish up and relax and the adrenaline stops pumping.

No guesses or beliefs please. Just wondering if any insiders know for sure.

Also, I assume Sanders will play. Is there any hope for Haywood, and how did Bonds hold up?

Didn't see any limping. Perhaps I just missed it, but it looked like he was getting around pretty well.

Kate will have something on those injuries in the Around the Region report on us. Just go to the DMN college section under us. If you don't have it, I'll provide that link. I saw Justin limping too. For what it's worth, he ran over to the band for the alma mater.

Most of the players do every week.
I'm going to assume he has some general soreness. Willis is a tough dude, and one hell of a quarterback!

According to the DMN, Haywood is questionable with his shoulder and Henderson was held back last week (obviously) but is expected to play against Rice. Nothing about Willis. These guys must eat nails and glass shards for breakfast.
