In the Media Guide I noticed Daniel Francis is gone. Did I miss something here? What happened?

My understanding is that Daniel Francis has left school, at least for a year (Chris Phillips has his #7 jersey).

The DMN said C.D. Moss was the lone "straggler" but that he's expected to be there today.

What's with James Elliott?

DFran had a little academic trouble, but should be back if he gets his grades back up. As far as James Elliot goes, no one was ever impressed with that kid. He was a pretty bad reciever.. I know we have a thing about embracing all Mustangs, but I'm not sorry to see him go if he has in fact, gone. We need to add TALENT. One more available scholarship wouldn't be a bad thing, either.

I guess Elliot is/was one of those guys that looks good on paper, but never pans out. Since we recruited him, I've been waiting for him to break into the 2-deep. Ah well.

I wouldn't count on seeing Francis again in uniform. That's all I'll say.
