WE WILL BEAT RICE, The players are all fired up and been practicing hard. The Senior's had a great Banquet after the Tulsa Game and was fired up then for Rice. Someone said this was best year, but last year was too. All you have to do is look in the SMU Media Book, Inside back Cover.2005 season marked first time in school history that SMU won both the Iron Skillet and the Mayor's Cup in same year. Beat TCU and RICE. besides not forgetting "The Legend at Legion". The Tulsa game was awesome. We can and will beat Rice on their ground. We are excited and feel postive and will be there to support our MUSTANGS. Going to Beat Rice 2 years in a row.

If the Seniors had a great Banquet, how can we lose? I'm sure Rice took the week off for Thanksgiving so they probably won't put up much of a fight.

If you read all of the stories from Rice coaches and players, they claim this game is more important to them! This is their senior's final game, last home home, no bowl game since 1961. This my friends, will be one hell of a fight.

The winner will leave it all on the field, for sure.

Do you guys really think that last year was the First Year we beat TCU and Rice in the same year. The Mayor's Cup wasn't around. There was a day when SMU beat TCU and Rice for 10 years in a row

How did the mayor drink her coffee back then?

Actually I think that is a baseball (catcher) term rather than a coffee drinking term. Kind of lost its luster when the women became involved.
