Just talked to someone in the Mustang Club, and if you want to take the bus to Houston, you have to RSVP by NOON TODAY. As of 11:15am, there were only 10 RSVPs.

That's freaking sad. All you Mustang Club apologists can kiss off.

I guess with 10 people they could take the Mustang Club Mini-Van. I'd go but I'm afraid I might have to sit next to Big 10.

I'm in the Mustang Club, and I'm driving myself to Houston because my family is staying with some friends. The bus doesn't matter, it's the fact that we get as many SMU fans as possible there to see the Ponies stomp the Owls and go bowling!

The Mustang Club still sucks. I get my post deleted for criticizing them?

I think actually the issue is I'd have to sit near you. A fate worse than death.

I am also in the Mustang club and am driving myself. Was going to take the bus, but I've got a SMU buddy coming up from Galveston and I am staying down there. Can't speak for everyone else though. See y'all at the tent.

I am in the Mustang CLub and in CA but wa wondering how much a bus costs to get to Houston and back. Got the email and was shcoked to see 50 people for 50 bucks. Sure I was a history major but thats 2500 bucks and seems a bit steep for a bus ride not including tix.

I guess Mountain Dew and Cheetos weren't enough to sway those folks. Caviar and chardonnay, then we would have a trip.

You remember how much the busses were for frat parties right? Pretty expensive as I recall. Now isntead of doing busses for 4 hours and making multiple 10 mile round trips, this is a bus trip which includes tie ing the bus up for 14 hrs and 560 miles leaving. Seems like a reasonable cost to me really from the bus company.
Now I agree that SMU should be picking up part of the cost on this in an effort to make it around $30 a head for the drive only or $50 a head including ticket. But thats neither here nor there.

For $30.00 I might not have gotten a snack.

Does the $50 include an onboard, travelling keg? And also a restroom? Don't know if that's the Mustang Club's style, but if so, it's well worth the price. Fraternity buses to Texas Stadium always at least had a keg.
