We're leaving in a few minutes to go support the Mustangs at Moody! Looking for another home 'W' for Coach Doherty and the Mustangs! BEAT UL-M!

I was there with my daughter. Saw MM65 from a distance but didn't make it over there to say Hi.

Team looked really good tonight. It is a big boost to have Epps back, that gives us a solid 8 man rotation now with 8 guys that will all get a lot of minutes.

I tell you what, this team is big, has some good athletes, good shooters, and except for Bamba, a VERY veteran team. I think we all need to raise our expectations, this could very well be the best team that we have had in a long time if we can avoid the injuries. 8 is plenty good enough to keep fatigue from setting in.

Really looking forward to the season, like they said on the radio, UL-Monroe is no pushover, they are D-1, moved up in Conference and beat SMU by 7 last year, and we totally dominated them in every facet of the game. Lets keep the wins rolling and then see how we play against Oklahoma, we do good there and this team may do something special this year.

Ike was a stud tonight.

Our inside guys looked very strong - Bamba had his typical 4-5 blocks and moved very well - Rack was agressive and Ike was very solid.

We will have turn overs at the 1 and 2 when we play better competition, but this team should be good enough for 17-18 wins. My expectations went up by a few games tonight.

Ike was awesome, and has been all year.

I talked with Coach D about him and he said he was dead serious that Ike would have not just played but started on his Notre Dame and North Carolina teams.

Awesome game for the Mustangs tonight! For those of you who are in town and didn't go, shame on you! The Mustangs played hard and aggressive tonight to put the Warhawks away!

What a difference this team is over last year's. Focused. Determined. Ready to play each game. Coaching definitely makes a difference!

We're buying our season tickets next Monday. It's our Christmas present to each other!

The official head count 1,036 and probably less for who actually was there. Horrendous. But a couple things to consider.
1. The campus was probably a ghost town with the kids going home.
2. With relatives coming into town or leaving for the normal goers, that hurts.
3. And it's going to take some time for people to pay attention and get behind the team. It will happen. If we can average in the 3,000 range, that would be a great start.
4. Our home schedule is easy but not attractive. Again, the program needs to get to a point where people will deliberately pay attention.

I was at the Dayton game and hope to get to a couple of more. If everything goes right, I plan on seeing us play at TCU since I'm pretty close.

you have to love that. Does anyone think that after a Duke game someone is able to say "I talked to Coach K after the game and..." or anyone says, "well Roy Williams told me..." or better still "Bob Knight and I were talking..."

Coach D does seem very approachable. At least that's from what I've seen at football games. Quite a contrast, considering I sat about 15 feet from Coach Dement at the Ok State shellacking at Ford a few years ago and didn't say a word, even though he was sitting alone. Coach D is always around people, and always amicable.
