Some interesting notes here. SMU has 10 seniors and 51 freshmen:

51? Which means that in a few years, we'll be the most senior-laden team in NCAA history?

51 freshmen is a bit misleading. It really means that we were able to red-shirt a LOT of players. One would assume, to avoid your scenario, that we would be doing the same thing this year.

Which is what you want to do, anyway - I've always thought most coaches want to redshirt just about every freshman they get.
