UNF, you have got to be kidding,you're going to contribute this to bennett? "they recruit lineman they knew had the frames to add 30-40lbs." What a joke! You think for one minute this is a new revelation for coaches? Boy bennett knows something that nobody else knows,Shhhhh lets don't tell anybody.And for your info Adami,Hrncir,Kieschnick,Hargis,Harris and Reindel,the whole starting line that added many lbs to their frames were all Cavan recruits.If you are going to give anybody credit give it to who deserves it,Faucette.

Uhm.. excuse me? Faucette worked with plenty of Cavan's kids. The result= only two 300lb. linemen that I'm aware of (harris and hargis) and it took them 3 and 4 years to get to that size. We already have numerous 300lb. linemen and they're only freshmen (true and redshirts). So you give me a break, "click." Faucette has done a tremendous job, but in order for weight gain to happen, the players have to have the frames to do so. We haven't had a combination of talent and this size on the O-line in quite some time. I'm not sure why you don't attribute that to Bennett's recruiting.

Let's not get carried away with size. Size is nothing with skills (e.g. Sterling Harris the last couple of years).

No one knows what Cavan looked for or what Bennett looks for, but all you have to do to see if a recruit can put on the weight is to look at his MOM.

After last year, I don't mind having larger OL, but I would prefer OL with better speed, and technique.

And don't your worry, Hrncir is an all-star at TE.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. The past two classes of O-linemen seem to have more talent/skill and speed than those of past linemen.

That's exactly my point. He had 2 years to work with Cavan's kids. Faucette has spent one year with Bennett's kids and look at the difference.
