I just spoke with Peruna, and he said that the leading coaching contender is Gus, the field goal kicking mule from the 70's Disney movie.

Unlike Vanderjagt, Gus is no headcase. He's matured a bit from his Namath-esque escapades of the the swinging 70's, and brings a Landry-like stoicism to the sidelines.

Peruna thought he would be an upgrade from Cavan, but a slight downgrade from Bennett.

donations in excess of $100,000? $1,000,000? please clarify.

also, did these boosters pay for the buyout?
