I just was told the same thing.

Coach Phil will return.

I am surprised, but trust Orsini
and am hopeful we can keep improving.

Why did Cavan get fired? He at least had a winning record. Bennett stays. Translation: SMU too cheap to buy him out and too cheap to hire a big-time coach. Second rate athletic department. Period.

Hiring Todd Dodge as OC would be the best football move SMU has made in a long, long time. Although, being OC at SMU might be a step down from being HC at Southlake.

I for one wanted PB to go after the ECU thinking that our season was over with but I didn't give PB any credit....I'm sorry PB but u did manage to salvage a "lost" season after UNT and ECU and still get us to .500...

I'm glad you're back but next year a bowl game is a MUST and I'm sure Orsini told you that....Good luck in the off season and I can't wait for the 07 season to start.
