I'm fine with Bennett getting another year just as long as Burns is let go. I'd also prefer we get a special teams coach.

Bashing the team, even if you don't agree with the decision to keep Bennet, does no good. As a fan, all we can do it support the team. If you can't do that with Bennet at the helm, then don't come back next year. It's that simple.

And for the record, those of you who keep track of such things should note that my prediction that 6-6 would keep us out of a bowl and cost Bennett his job was only half right. As for the other half, I was wrong. It happens from time to time.

We have no choice but to rally around Coach Phil.

I am shocked he was not dismissed because
"insiders" had informed me it was a "done deal".

It seems alot of of the parents, fans, and
players wanted Coach Phil to stay.

The decision has been made.

Lets move on and all up our contribution to the
Mustang Club this year and see what happens next Fall.

Maybe Coach Phil can get some great recruits
now that players know he is staying.
