San Jose State in a bowl

Postby alamocitystang » Tue Nov 28, 2006 5:34 pm

Didn't know if anybody saw this but SJSU is in the New Mexico bowl. That kinda makes me sick.

It seems important to mention this in each post right although for now it looks like Orsini agrees with me:

I'm a firm Bennett supporter because the last game of the season has only meant something twice in twenty years. As soon as we take a step backward fire his [deleted].

Yup 4 of our former WAC mates will be bowling....it doesn't look so bad to be in the WAC when you have a Heisman Canidate in Colt Brenan and a Boise State team playing in the BCS Fiesta Bowl.

Actually, I think the RB out of Boise St, Ian Johnson, is probably a more serious Heisman Candidate than Brennan.

Yes I forgot about Ian Johnson, a sophomore who will be a name to remeber for a few years.

Him and Colt are great athletes and both are top Heisman canidates according to ESPN...

Ian ran for 140+yds after having a collapsed lung the week before.

San Jose State was 3-8 last year, and is 7-4 with a game to play and heading to a bowl. Pretty good turnaround for the school and their second year coach.
