Since Scrubs has never been a megahit, Lawrence points out that the show doesn't have the burden of carrying a network on its slim shoulders. "In TV, when you have high expectations, like Studio 60 (on the Sunset Strip), it's almost impossible to meet them," Lawrence says. "When you have low expectations, it's much easier to be a pleasant surprise to everybody."
