Did you even watch the game?

Obviously not.

Jeez, you look at the score and assume that it was his fault. He did everything he could, UT's D sealed it.

I did watch the game and he was getting constant pressure. Sure the D folded like a fat man sitting in a plastic chair but Sneed could not keep them or get them back into the game.

The D had trouble stopping Freeman but I dont recall seeing Sneed make any plays to help the team.

This kid is good, but he is not great.

What TCU needs is either of the choices above. He will be a player for them...but he sure hasn't shown he can be yet.

I know the kid is young but he ran from his Florida committment when it Tim Tebow committed there and the goign was going to get tough.

Now he is goign to run from UT because again the competition is too tough. This kid needs to learn to honor his decisions and quit being afraid of competition.

Yeah, this guy's not going to SMU so he must suck, right sunshine? SMU'd give its left nut to sniff the jock of a UT recruit.

He's probably going to do fine in Frogville against those sorry teams in the MWC. About the same as playing for SHS. He wants to go somewhere that he a reasonable chance to play. He won't get that at SMU with a solid starter in place for three more years. He has to sit out a year, so we won't see him until 2008.

Some of the posts in this thread are absurd.

"He came in midway through the UT/KState game and lost bc his D gave up 40+ points, he must suck."

"He is the same year as a QB who is about to set the Freshman TD pass record for the NCAA and wants to transfer- he's not a good competitor."

jt is right on in that the whole damn SMU coaching staff would go streaking down the Blvd if we landed a UT transfer.

Austin American Statesmen reports that Snead is looking at Louisville, TCU and UH. They all seem to make pretty good sense to me. Take over for Brohm at Louisville, take over the injured QB carousel at TCU, or unite with the former Stephenville head coach and have the success a former Stephenville QB (Kolb) did in his career there.

Who's kidding who?

If TCU is successful in landing a quarterback of Snead's ability

it would be a monumental addition to an already solid program.

Just be concerned about having to face a quarterback like Jevan

Snead for the next three years starting in 2008.

As bad as this is/will be for Texas, there is a very capable freshman, Sherrod Harris, who looked very impressive during summer camp waiting in the wings. I think Texas will be just fine.

Let's see: Snead is from Stephenville. UofH QB Kevin Kolb is from Stephenville. UofH head football coach Art Briles is from Stephenville. Yeah. Sounds 'bout right.
