INJURY UPDATE WEDNESDAY 10:15 PMeveryone should be good although we have had 3 guys tear their ACL's in the past 5 days...phillip burley...Beckner...Josh Hickman...evidently the pony bowl was brutal bec all happened then and then many others were injured....haywood is practicing he may be limited but i would bet he plays he tells me he wants to jessie returned kicks today and should start....
Re: INJURY UPDATE WEDNESDAY 10:15 PM
that's not good about the young guys. I hope the degree of ACL tear and other structures is involved is minimal. While prognoses have improved over the years, it's never a sure thing that the player will be back to 100%. Let's hope all of these guys all get there.

Sounds like the "Pony Bowl" might not be such a good idea for the coaches to have after all...........

Re: INJURY UPDATE WEDNESDAY 10:15 PM
Any word on how those injured in the "pony bowl" are doing?
Im sure if they have torn their ACL they have probably had surgery by now and our in the training room rehabing. Looks like those guys will sit out spring ball.
Terrible break if Burley wont be practicing this spring....but i wish those the best and quickest recovery...
Re: INJURY UPDATE WEDNESDAY 10:15 PMi'll see what i can get... it might have to wait until dec.12 after im done with finals... but i will get some updates when im back in dallas for sure if not sooner
usually ACL surgery will happer 2-3 weeks after the tear so that swelling is reduced. Speaking from experience, I underwent 6 weeks of physical therapy prior to surgery to help overcome the extreme loss of muscle due to 4-6 weeks on crutches. Its a long road back, but not an impossible one. Good luck guys, rehab hard.
