so now that Rice and Ohio are bowling what does that leave about 3-4 teams with a longer drought than SMU?

Yea but Ohio plays in the MAC where every year another team gets good. SMU can beat most teams in the conference. Easily.

I do agree that we could beat some teams in the MAC but I dont know about the "easily" part. MAC schools this year played tougher schedules than us. NIU played Ohio State this year and Michigan last year. They also had another good BIG TEN school they played. CMU played BC at the beginning of the year and WMU had a pretty tough schedule.

MAC schools seem to play harder schedules than CUSA...thats just how Ive seen it these past 2 years.

Louisiana Laffeyette also could break a longer drought since the 1971 Grantland Rice Bowl(hmm)by beating an awful 0-11 Florida International team on Saturday. The numbers are dwindling-the bottom is clearly in sight.

LL will get shut out of a bowl if Troy wins.

I know Vandy is one of less than a handful with a longer drought. One team has a bigger drought than Rice has had. Temple has got to be in there too right?

I believe New Mexico St has not gone to a bowl in 46 years and we should add Kent and Eastern Michigan to the Top 5. Excellent company.
