That's a big concern of mine too and my main objection to the incessant vitriol. Stallion and his converts aren't going away, though. I can only hope I'm wrong and that his program does us some good. An argument can be made that it already has as many of the changes he's called for over the years have come to fruition -- such as a lessening in admission standards for athletes. Or maybe jt's right and no one of consequence reads this or takes any of it seriously anyway.
We've got a lot bigger problems ahead of us if the powers that be are making decisions based on what people on this board are posting. The possibility that we're scaring off recruits with this is remote at best as well. I'm sure every program in the country including the most successful ones has message boards full of people complaining about various topics.
I wouldn't be surprised if influential people in our program read this board, but I would be surprised if anyone on here has come up with earth-shattering secrets that were previously unthought of. If we have, then we've got the wrong people in place to make decisions.
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!

Leave the site please, and leave the FAN base please. You contribute nothting!!!!!!!!
1.first off you say listening to you makes us all $%&#(@ idiots, so please spare us and stop posting... 2. thank-you for listing me in a Satllion thread, let alone as placing me in the same thought... 3. but stallion IS one of the most educated posters on this board about recruiting, etc.
We are in Texas, the football capital. We do not have heisman trophy winners at SMU. We just want to win. What the hell does heisman have to do with it. How many of them go to the next level and play. Stop comparing us to anyone else. We have to do something different!

You actually believe this chat site has made changes in the athletics at SMU. My God Man, are you mad. We are screwed!

Yes we are in Texas arguably the football capital of [fill in blank]. We don't have heisman trophy winners at SMU (except i think we had one
), but you are the one saying we have all-american DB's... and who even said anything about the heisman. How many heisman players go to the next level and play?? ummm a lot, they are normally drafted in the first round.... your posts are so confusing... maybe next time you want to make a post with some credibility here are some things you can do:
1. sit down with a pen and paper and write down some thoughts (profanity free please)
2. research a little what you want to discuss so you can have some knowledge on the subject matter
3. make an outline in a logical format, so that the reader can see the transitions from one idea to another.
4.proof read
5. walk away, and take some time to think it over
6. proof read it again, make sure there are no obscene words, so we don't scare off any recruits
7. then log on to ponyfans.com and post

Just stop and think for a minute without getting into an argument with me. The big percentage of heisman winners are where? Not all of them, but some. Do not be so anal dude. We do have some players at SMU now who can and will be All Americans, barring injury. J-Will, Emmanuel, Taylor Bonn, Hud, Zac Thomas, and maybe some more. Who know, not you Mr Negatve.
